waiting to cross the street in new york when i tried to get this shot of the guy and his hot dog stand. typical new york city scene right? well, he was kinda posing for me but i guess my hand wasn't steady enough and so there, lotsa movement in the frame. or it could also be that the people were walking behind the cart and that taxi was really moving forward. in any case, i put it up coz i still like it, its a work in progress ... hehehe.

was walking around san francisco when mom and i saw this sign at yerba buena gardens. how can i not take a picture eh in tagalog yung isang part ng sign, yun nga lang - wrong grammar. hahaha! it should be, "babala: bawal ang pumasok dito." is this a sign (play on words yan ha) that there are soooo many pinoys in SF? there's even this joke that the reason why there's so much fog in daly city (also in/near SF) is that there are so many pinoys cooking rice! hahaha!

was on our way to carmel when the tour bus stopped by this cafe so we could have something to eat and whatever else was needed. saw this pepper plant on the porch and i just loved all those bright happy colors!

was going to take a picture of the street when i chanced on this couple taking a picture of themselves ... it was too good an opportunity to pass up! voila! :P

at the other side of the boat were these houses ... had met a local and said that we were lucky the sun had come out coz it had been hiding from them for the past few days. he was a war veteran and had been to the philippines! he was out walking and had stopped to chat while waiting for his wife who was a ways behind. ;P
note: had to resize past 3 images, wouldn't have fit if i had. those are the only sizes available for resizing as of this time ...

in san francisco, at one of its many harbors. you can almost see the city behind the jet of water from the boat ... ;P

liked the way the glass face of this building showed one the other building across the courtyard ... and the couple in the lower left gave the image a sense of scale (naks, doesn't sound like an amateur di ba?)

part of the gardens at the j.paul getty center in los angeles, ca. people were raving about the gardens at the back of the center since it was one of it's main attractions, aside from the art displayed there ... and to my surprise, boungainvillas! eh ang dami nyan sa 'tin eh! but you hafta admit, they don't look like this sa atin. hehehe ...

just had to go to bikini bottom of course! hahaha! can you see mr.crab's arm and an eye of sponge bob's pet snail? hehehe ...

at universal studios ... here i am with shots of trees again! is a palm a tree or does one call it a plant?

love taking pictures of trees ... this was sooo tall. had to seriously look up see it all. hope you could sorta feel like that too when looking at this. ;P

i was able to post this on my other blog but not sure if it'll work in blaedshots ... will find out when i see it i guess ... hehehe ... my first pic posted since i left for a vacation with my mom to the US. this was taken in descanso gardens in los angeles, ca. the gentleman was kind enough to let me take his picture, either because he didn't know i was taking it or he was falling asleep at the sheer peacefulness of the gardens.
